Job Description: Data Engineer with Insurance Domain Experience

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in the insurance domain to join one of our client’s dynamic teams. This is a long-term opportunity for individuals local to Georgia or Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and organize raw data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Build robust data systems and pipelines to support business needs.
  • Evaluate business needs and objectives to align data strategies.
  • Interpret trends and patterns to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct complex data analysis and report on findings.
  • Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling initiatives.
  • Develop and implement algorithms and prototypes for data-driven solutions.
  • Combine information from various sources to create a unified view.
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition to enhance datasets.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools and programs.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Previous experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL database design and management.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience working with P&C Insurance domain is mandatory.

Process Skills:

  • Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs.
  • Participate as a team member and foster teamwork through inter-group coordination.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Train and coach project team members to ensure effective knowledge management.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Data engineering certification (e.g., IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus.

Special Requirements

Need locals to Georgia or Texas only. Need Insurance Domain experience.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Atlanta, GA
