Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines for network telemetry and infrastructure analytics. This role combines networking expertise with data engineering to deliver real-time insights and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines for network telemetry (NetFlow, sFlow, SNMP, logs, packet data)
- Integrate data from routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Build data models for performance analytics, capacity planning, and anomaly detection
- Implement real-time and batch processing frameworks
- Develop dashboards and reporting using BI tools
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability
- Automate workflows using scripting and orchestration tools
- Support troubleshooting through data analysis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with networking exposure
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF)
Special Requirements
Visa: Open to all visa types (NO GC)
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
