Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer for an onsite contract role in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integration development, with a strong focus on IBM ACE (v12/v13 preferred), IIB, or WMB. This role requires a deep understanding of message flows, ESQL, message modeling, and error handling, as well as experience with various integration technologies and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
- Design and implement message flows, ESQL routines, and message models.
- Implement robust error handling mechanisms within integration solutions.
- Integrate with various systems using MQ, REST/SOAP services, JSON/XML, and file-based methods.
- Deploy and support integration solutions in Linux environments.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize version control systems like Git for code management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration solutions.
- Work closely with functional teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5-7 years of integration development experience.
- Hands-on experience with IBM ACE (v12/v13 preferred), IIB, or WMB.
- Strong knowledge of message flows, ESQL, message modeling, and error handling.
- Experience with MQ, REST/SOAP services, JSON/XML, and file-based integrations.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and basic deployment/support activities.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other integration platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-based integration services.
- Experience in the energy or related industries.
Special Requirements
Local candidates preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
