Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior QA Analysts to validate and certify Private Equity reports generated using Crystal Reports and SSRS. This critical role ensures the accuracy, correctness, and adherence to client-specific customizations for data, reports, and parameters. The QA team is integral to the Client Custom model, validating every stage from stored procedures to the final rendered output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end validation of Client Custom reports, covering data, configuration, and presentation layers.
  • Validate SQL Server stored procedure outputs, including parameter handling, aggregations, grouping logic, and data scoping by client, fund, investor, and as-of-date.
  • Test Crystal Reports and SSRS for layout accuracy, conditional sections, formulas, and header/footer/branding behavior.
  • Verify JSON configuration files and ensure correct binding to reports and datasets.
  • Execute comprehensive regression testing to confirm that copied or reused components do not retain residual dependencies from source reports.
  • Compare report outputs against source systems to guarantee data accuracy.
  • Document defects clearly and collaborate effectively with developers for prompt resolution.
  • Provide support for UAT and production deployment activities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7-8 years of dedicated QA experience in data-driven or reporting-centric systems.
  • Proven hands-on experience testing Crystal Reports, SSRS, and SQL Server stored procedures.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation purposes.
  • Demonstrated experience in validating financial or investment reporting, with a preference for Private Equity domain experience.
  • Strong understanding of report parameters, calculations, and aggregation logic.
  • Experience with QA Automation frameworks is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with investor reporting, NAV validation, or capital reporting.
  • Familiarity with batch reporting, PDF generation, and multi-report packaging.
  • Exposure to production support and root cause analysis.

3 days onsite in a week

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
