Job Overview:
WB Solutions is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain their enterprise data networks and services. This role is crucial for ensuring the stable operation of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments (Azure). The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a strong understanding of network architecture, troubleshooting, and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and deploy network architecture for Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and cloud environments (Azure).
- Configure and deploy network hardware and third-party cloud networking services.
- Troubleshoot complex network performance issues, including analysis of packet captures and system logs.
- Collaborate with network solution providers to design enterprise network topology, routing, and service levels.
- Develop and implement alerting and response runbooks to ensure optimal network performance.
- Adhere to Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Advisory Board (CAB) protocols.
- Perform network capacity planning, including forecasting future requirements and supporting disaster recovery planning.
- Support project teams by providing network architecture and solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate enterprise-wide installation of network hardware and software.
- Research and recommend network products, services, and standards aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage lifecycle activities for network hardware, including upgrades and refreshes.
- Implement and maintain security infrastructure such as firewalls, antivirus systems, and intrusion detection systems.
- Design, plan, and deploy Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs).
- Engage with vendors and service providers to procure network-related products and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education & Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in network administration or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Catalyst & Nexus switches, Cisco Unified Wireless (ISE, Prime Infrastructure), F5 Big-IP (multiple modules/products).
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Nornir, Python, Terraform, or Go.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing data centers or working with data center service providers.
- Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Willingness to work occasional off-hours, weekends, and travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience with LogicMonitor, NetScout, NetBox, Temporal.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
