Job Description: PeopleSoft Techno-functional Consultant

We are looking for a skilled PeopleSoft Techno-functional Consultant for a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) position based in Florham Park, NJ. This is a long-term project requiring 5 days a week in the office. The role involves a two-round interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM applications, including analysis, development, implementation, testing, and post-implementation support.
  • Utilize People Tools (8.5X) including Application Designer, PeopleSoft Query, People Code, Integration Broker, Component Interface, and File Layout.
  • Work with reporting tools like BIPs.
  • Specialize in Procure to Pay (P2P) modules and develop integrations with third-party systems such as Jaggaer, Coupa, and Ariba.
  • Prior experience integrating Jaggaer with PeopleSoft is highly preferred.
  • Gain exposure to PeopleSoft Financials modules and perform development in Financials and P2P tracks.
  • Perform hands-on development using Application Engine, integrations, customizations, and reporting tools.
  • Develop integrations using Integration Broker, Component Interface, and File Layout.
  • Create file-based integrations as well as REST APIs and SOAP-based real-time integrations.
  • Develop and customize reports using BI Publisher, nVision, SQR, and PS Query.
  • Understand business requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Work directly with business leads to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), suggest solutions, implement automations, and provide other value additions to the business.
  • Develop and deploy solutions.
  • Participate in development projects and work through different stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a Lead in couple of projects, performing internal code and design reviews.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience on PeopleSoft FSCM applications.
  • Strong experience with People Tools (8.5X): Application Designer, PeopleSoft Query, People Code, Integration Broker, Component Interface, File Layout.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools like BIPs.
  • Expertise in Procure to Pay modules.
  • Experience in developing integrations with third-party systems (Jaggaer, Coupa, Ariba).
  • Exposure to PeopleSoft Financials modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Application Engine, integrations, customizations, and reporting.
  • Experience with Integration tools: Integration Broker, Component Interface, File Layout.
  • Experience in creating file-based integrations, REST APIs, and SOAP-based real-time integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with BI Publisher, nVision, SQR, and PS Query.
  • Ability to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Experience working in different stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working as a Lead in projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience with integrating Jaggaer with PeopleSoft.

Special Requirements

Preference is C2H as its a long-term project. Interview – 2 rounds.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $80 per year (Estimated)
