Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in performance analysis, capacity planning, and system maintenance. This role is responsible for ensuring operational stability across infrastructure environments while contributing to strategic planning, budgeting, and cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze system performance metrics to support capacity planning, resource utilization, and budget forecasting.
- Plan, test, document, and implement advanced system maintenance activities across hardware and software environments.
- Ensure systems meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for performance and availability.
- Lead and mentor team members on: Technical problem-solving, Project execution and delivery, Task prioritization, Strategic and operational planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions and provide subject matter expertise.
- Develop and maintain administrative procedures to support new and existing system components.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clarity in both verbal and written communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering / System Administration.
- Strong experience in: Performance analysis, Capacity planning, Resource utilization optimization.
- Hands-on experience in planning and executing system maintenance activities (hardware & software).
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
- Exposure to Kubernetes environments.
- Relevant certifications such as: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
Additional Notes:
- Strong emphasis on operational stability, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Ideal candidate should have a balance of technical depth and leadership capability.
- Experience in enterprise-level environments is highly preferred.
