About the Role:

We are looking for an Application Support Specialist to ensure our software applications run smoothly. This role acts as a crucial bridge between users and development teams, providing essential technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing, configuring, and updating systems, resolving technical issues through ticketing systems, and creating comprehensive documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise software applications.
  • Manage, configure, and update various software systems.
  • Resolve technical issues reported by users via ticketing systems.
  • Act as a liaison between end-users and development teams to communicate issues and solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams on bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of Moody’s CreditLens platform.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • MUST HAVE MOODY’S CREDITLENS experience.
  • Proficiency in using CreditLens (and QUIQspread) for financial statement spreading (balance sheets, income statements) for commercial borrowers.
  • Experience in credit analysis and underwriting using the platform to prepare credit memos, analyze financial data, and evaluate borrower risk.
  • Understanding of risk management principles, including covenant tracking and managing loan documentation.
  • Ability to leverage AI-backed data extraction for faster, more consistent underwriting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and AI-powered solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in application support or a similar technical role.

Moody’s CreditLens is a cloud-based, AI-powered platform for end-to-end commercial credit lifecycle management, including automated financial spreading via QUIQspread, risk rating, and underwriting. It streamlines loan origination, enhances data accuracy, and integrates with CRM systems to speed up credit decisioning.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY
