Job Summary:
We are seeking 5 talented Java Full Stack Developers with AWS Expertise for a dynamic role in NYC. This position requires a strong background in Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, and related technologies. The role involves working in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies, and applying skills in system design, microservices, and architectural best practices within the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java Full Stack technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Utilize AWS services including ECS/EKS/Lambda for cloud-native development.
- Implement microservices architecture and ensure adherence to architectural best practices.
- Work with data persistence technologies such as Cassandra and Cockroach.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana.
- Develop and maintain Python/Shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Engage in DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
- Apply system design principles to architect robust and efficient solutions.
- Ensure compliance with banking domain requirements and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 9+ years of professional experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- Proven expertise in Core Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda).
- Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra and Cockroach.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience in system design, microservices, and architectural best practices.
- Minimum 3-4 years of recent experience in the banking domain.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-native development tools like Copilot and Codeium.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Experience in the New York (NYC) tech scene.
- Previous experience with Ex-JPMC projects.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
