Network Administrator Role Details
We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator for a long-term contract role (at least 12 months, with potential for extension) located in New York City, NY. This is a fully onsite position requiring the candidate to be in the office 5 days a week. The role involves designing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, with a focus on security and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage firewalls, network segmentation, and wireless platforms.
- Contribute to network projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced networking and security issues.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual efforts and recurring incidents.
- Monitor and ensure network compliance and overall health.
- Deploy and manage Aruba Wireless and ClearPass solutions.
- Implement Cisco SD-WAN for secure Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Deep understanding of IP networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management.
- Proficiency in VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Network Address Translation (NAT), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and various switching technologies.
- Experience with Aruba ClearPass for network access control and Cisco SD-WAN solutions.
- Strong documentation skills and proven project execution capabilities.
Work Schedule & Location:
This is a fully onsite position in New York City, NY. Candidates must work 5 days a week in the office. Local candidates or those from adjacent states are preferred. The role requires working day shift hours with occasional night or weekend activities.
Salary Information:
The expected pay range for this role is $50 – $60 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and interview evaluation, in compliance with salary transparency laws.

Fully Onsite in New York City, NY. 5 days a week in office. Local or adjacent state candidates preferred. F2F Interview highly preferred for local candidates. Occasional night or weekend activities may be required.
