Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team for an onsite position. This role involves leveraging your expertise in Salesforce development to build and customize solutions that meet business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Implement triggers, classes, and batch Apex for complex business logic.
- Design and develop user interfaces using Lightning Components and the Lightning Design System.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Configure and manage Salesforce data models, security settings, and sharing rules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and best practices.
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in Salesforce Apex development including triggers, classes, batch Apex, and declarative features.
- Strong experience in Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Aura framework, and Lightning Design System.
- In-depth knowledge of integration with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data modeling, security and sharing settings, and deployment strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders effectively.
Additional Information
This is a 12-month contract position. The role is onsite and requires the candidate to work from our Reston, VA location. We are looking for individuals who can contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
