Job Opportunity: Full Stack Developer – Mobile (Hybrid)

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on mobile development to join our team for a hybrid role in San Antonio, TX. This is a long-term contract opportunity (24+ months) requiring local Texas candidates.

Core Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with React (mandatory).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, NestJS, Prisma ORM, and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript across front-end and back-end layers.
  • Experience building and integrating secure REST APIs.

Mobile Development Requirements:

  • Proven experience developing apps with Expo + React Native.
  • Understanding of React Native architecture and performance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in designing and developing applications supporting refinery operations.
  • On-prem development experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman).
  • Experience with state management libraries (Zustand).
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Web Application Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Next.js.
  • Implement backend services and microservices using NestJS.
  • Build efficient data access layers using Prisma ORM.
  • Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Build reusable React components aligned with modern React patterns.
  • Integrate authentication, authorization, and secure API flows.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability across the stack.

Mobile Application Development:

  • Build cross-platform mobile applications using Expo + React Native.
  • Implement features such as navigation, deep linking, push notifications, and offline storage.
  • Ensure smooth cross-platform performance across iOS and Android.

Collaboration & Delivery:

  • Participate in system design sessions, code reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Work closely with functional teams, UX/UI teams, and backend engineers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications across web and mobile.
  • Document system architecture, APIs, and component design.

Additional Information:

  • Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid)
  • Duration: 24+ Months
  • Rate: $70 – $75/hr on C2C
  • Must be local to Texas.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,600 – $156,000 per year
