Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications and services. This role requires strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystems, experience with web frameworks, and familiarity with databases and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Work with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Manage database interactions using SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Python development.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
  • Utilize version control systems, particularly Git, for code management.
  • Leverage knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Database knowledge (SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL; NoSQL: MongoDB, Redis)
  • Version control systems (Git)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Python Developer or in a similar role.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Information

This is a contract position located in Atlanta, GA. The role is hybrid, and local candidates are preferred.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $50 – $70 per year (Estimated)
