Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in the insurance domain for multiple openings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Java Developer.
- Experience in the insurance domain is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with various design patterns and architectural styles.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional Information
- This is an onsite position in Houston, Texas.
- Local candidates are preferred.
Special Requirements
Locals only. Insurance domain experience preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year
