About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Java Developer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. This is a remote, contract-to-hire position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust Java-based applications.
- Leverage GCP services for cloud-native development, deployment, and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sr. Java Developer.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Visa Status: H1B (as per consultant details).
