Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack Java development, including Spring Boot frameworks and web services. This role requires advanced proficiency in microservices architecture, API development, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for application deployment and management.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure in-depth understanding and application of core Java concepts, including Streams, Threads, and Collections.
  • Work with GCP services including Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and development environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in Java and cloud computing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in full-stack Java programming.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Strong experience with web services development.
  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong experience with Microservices architecture and API development.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
  • In-depth knowledge of Java concepts (Streams, Threads, Collections).
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services: Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
