About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Sr AI Automation Engineer to design and build Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio. This role involves creating multistep agents that orchestrate migration workflows, status checks, and remediation actions. You will implement automation for email responses, develop and maintain Python and PowerShell scripts on Azure VMs, and integrate automation with various Azure services.

  • Design and build Agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including multistep agents that orchestrate migration workflows, status checks, and remediation actions, under Microsoft-defined architectures.
  • Implement automation for customer and internal email responses by integrating Copilot Studio agents with Outlook, shared mailboxes, Power Automate, and backend systems to generate contextual, human-reviewed responses.
  • Develop and maintain Python and PowerShell-based automation executed on Azure VMs to support migration and operational tasks, including longrunning or privileged activities not suited for serverless execution.
  • Build agent-driven automation for migration scenarios such as prechecks, failure triage, retry logic, telemetry analysis, and incident creation.
  • Integrate automation with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Kusto) to enable end-to-end automation and observability.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft Program Managers, Architects, and Operations teams to identify defined manual processes and deliver scoped, reliable automation solutions.
  • Document delivered solutions and support production readiness, including logging, security considerations, and operational handoff to Microsoft teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and deploying advanced AI-driven automation solutions.
  • Creating and managing agents for workflow orchestration and email response automation.
  • Writing and maintaining Python and PowerShell scripts for operational tasks.
  • Integrating automation solutions with Azure cloud services.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to ensure successful implementation and documentation.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging complex automation systems.
  • Ensuring the security and reliability of deployed automation solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of handson software engineering experience delivering production automation or tooling.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation, orchestration, and system-level tasks.
  • Handson experience building automation or agentbased systems, such as AI agents, bots, workflow engines, or orchestration services.
  • Handson experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder, or Power Automate.
  • Experience deploying and running workloads on Azure VMs, including handling credentials, certificates, logging, and failure recovery.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth, managed identity), and service-to-service integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed or operational systems.
  • Ability to work effectively within defined scopes and priorities in fast-moving environments.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
