Role Description
Experienced Windchill Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced PLM solutions. As a solution architect, you will define solution architectures, guide technical teams, and ensure alignment of Windchill capabilities with business objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders across functions to deliver scalable, efficient, integrated, quality, and future-ready PLM solutions to benefit end users with the following objectives:
- Lead and assist PLM pursuits and practice development initiatives.
- Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise, strengthening collective knowledge, and helping resolve customer challenges.
- Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice.
- Develop knowledge and gain project experience in PLM’s newest and future solutions.
- Collaborate with developers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Ensure alignment with client’s business objectives.
- Partner with clients and vendors to evaluate, select, and implement PLM solutions across various stages of maturity, from exploratory proof of concepts to large-scale integrations.
- Design and architect solutions that meet business requirements. Implement and customize PTC Windchill PLM modules such as PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, etc.
This role requires a deep understanding of PLM principles and Windchill’s capabilities, along with strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex PLM implementations and a passion for driving innovation in the product lifecycle management space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting and designing Windchill solutions to meet specific business needs.
- Configuring and customizing Windchill modules (PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, etc.).
- Integrating Windchill with other enterprise systems.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Windchill features and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Windchill Technical Architect or Solution Architect.
- In-depth knowledge of PTC Windchill PLM software and its modules.
- Experience with PLM implementation methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and business teams.
- Experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, and web services is a plus.
- Experience with other PLM systems is a plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
