Job Summary:
Software People Inc. is seeking a skilled Business and Data Analyst for a direct client engagement in New York, NY. This is an onsite position with a high possibility of extensions, requiring candidates to have a strong background in requirements management, business process analysis, and data analysis. The client is committed to validating all previous experiences and work documents, so candidates with fraudulent documents will be reported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document requirements from stakeholders for enhancements to the DYCD Financials systems.
- Analyze business processes related to DYCD Procurement and Contracting, recommending improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications and user stories.
- Act as a liaison between program staff and the IT development team.
- Conduct thorough testing of systems, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure business requirements are met.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 84 months of Requirements Management experience (non-functional and functional documentation, UI/UX).
- 84 months of Requirements Methodology experience (Agile, Scrum, Lean).
- 84 months of Business Process Modeling experience (Visio, swim lanes, entity diagrams).
- 60 months Quality Assurance Analysis experience (testing and validating requirements).
- 84 months of Data Analysis experience using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and/or Excel.
- 84 months of Problem Solving experience in defining business problems and implementing solutions.
- 60 months of experience with additional methodologies like IIBA, Six Sigma, AIC.
- 12 months of experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Subject7, and/or Mabl.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Associate Field or Information Technology.
Client Information:
- This is a Direct Client position.
- Phone/Skype Hire is possible.
- The role is onsite from Day 1.
- Duration: 12-24 Months with high possibility of extensions.
- Work Hours: 35 hours/week.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
