Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Telecom Expense Management Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing our company’s telecommunications spending. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom expense management, experience with large datasets, and proficiency in cost optimization techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of telecom expense management, including auditing invoices, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing optimization strategies.
- Analyze large datasets related to telecom usage, billing, and contracts to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular telecom billing and usage audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and negotiate favorable contract terms.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize telecom spending and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work with various financial and telecom systems to gather and process data.
- Support the finance and accounting departments with telecom-related financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in Telecom Expense Management (TEM).
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and PeopleSoft is a plus.
- Experience with telecom billing and usage audits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and analyze very large datasets.
- Experience working with multiple financial and telecom systems.
- SQL knowledge is a nice-to-have.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

100% Onsite in New York, NY.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
