Job Description: .NET Full Stack Developer (Banking/Capital Markets)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Full Stack Developer with a strong background in modern Microsoft technologies. This role requires a solid understanding of banking or capital markets processes and the ability to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Role Overview:
The .NET Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle of critical applications within the financial sector. This includes designing, coding, testing, and deploying high-quality software that meets stringent industry standards for performance, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure .NET applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+.
- Build responsive and interactive front-end components using Angular/React, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Develop and implement robust RESTful APIs, microservices, and middleware integrations.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and security, adhering to banking compliance standards.
- Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Grooming, Releases).
- Work with QA teams to support automation, testing, and efficient defect resolution.
- Integrate applications with SQL/NoSQL databases, optimizing complex queries for performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the application suite.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, Entity Framework, LINQ.
- Hands-on experience with front-end technologies: Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
- Expertise in REST APIs, microservices architecture, and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka experience is a plus).
- Solid working knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms: Azure/AWS/GCP (Azure is preferred for BFSI roles).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Jasmine.
Domain Experience:
- Strong understanding of banking or capital markets processes.
Essential Skills:

This is a local to New York position, requiring candidates to be physically present in the New York area. The role is expected to be an onsite W2 position.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $56 – $75 per year (Estimated)
