Job Title: Lead .Net Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead .Net Developer to join one of our client’s teams. This is a hybrid role based in Houston, TX or Chicago, IL, requiring 12+ months of commitment. The ideal candidate will possess over 12 years of experience in .NET development and a strong background in architecture, AWS, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of .NET applications.
  • Architect robust and scalable solutions using .NET Core 8+ and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Drive DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to technical strategy.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 12+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer.
  • Proven experience in a Lead or Architect role.
  • Advanced proficiency in .NET Core 8+ (C#).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns (e.g., MVC).
  • Extensive experience with AWS services.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices.
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET framework and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of at least one .NET language (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3.
  • Understanding of architecture styles and APIs (REST, RPC).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Additional Information:

  • This role is hybrid, with potential work locations in Houston, TX or Chicago, IL.
  • The contract duration is for 12+ months.
  • Candidates local to TX or IL are strongly preferred.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
