Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the Customer Support Data Modernization Program. This is a complex, multi-phase redesign initiative aimed at creating a unified, scalable, and AI-ready data platform. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating strategy into execution, driving cross-functional alignment, and managing program governance in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Strategy into Execution: Develop an end-to-end program plan and structured roadmap with clear milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with engineering, data, and analytics teams to define requirements, make critical design decisions, and manage delivery timelines.
- Manage Program Governance and Cadence: Establish structured updates, track progress rigorously, monitor risks, and proactively resolve blockers to ensure smooth program execution.
- Lead Data Modernization Efforts: Spearhead the redesign of our data platform to be unified, scalable, and AI-ready, ensuring it meets current and future business needs.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and achievements.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise data transformation/modernization programs in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Deep understanding of data management, data warehousing, data lake concepts, and data modeling practices.
- Familiarity with the aspects of data transformation required to migrate from legacy systems to modern platforms.
- While specific data management tools or language skills are not strictly required, proficiency in SQL is a strong plus.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Work Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience (this is a guideline and not a rigid criterion).
- Strong leadership and program management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
About the Location:
This is an on-site position located in New York. Candidates must be local to the New York area.
Special Requirements
On-site only, local candidates preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
