Job Title: MicroStrategy Developer

We are seeking a skilled MicroStrategy Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and analysts to deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and documents.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and manage schema objects such as attributes, facts, metrics, filters, and prompts.
  • Create and optimize data models and reporting structures for analytics.
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of reports and queries.
  • Implement security, user roles, and access controls within MicroStrategy.
  • Work with ETL and data warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dashboards, reports, and production environments.
  • Support deployments, migrations, and upgrades of MicroStrategy environments.
  • Provide user support, documentation, and training.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in MicroStrategy (MSTR) development.
  • Strong expertise in: MicroStrategy Desktop, Web, and Architecture tools.
  • Strong expertise in Report and dashboard development.
  • Strong expertise in Metrics, attributes, filters, and cubes.
  • Strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge.
  • Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database concepts.
  • Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with MicroStrategy Object Manager, Command Manager (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • MicroStrategy certifications (preferred).

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
