Job Description: AWS Neptune Expert
We are looking for a skilled AWS Neptune Expert to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing graph databases using AWS Neptune, with a focus on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and select data sources, tables, and relationships between entities in Snowflake.
- Establish secure connections between Snowflake and AWS Neptune via AWS service stack.
- Secure extracted data stored in S3 for transformation before loading into AWS Neptune.
- Collaborate with the current platform team to understand data structures and implement data extraction processes from Snowflake.
- Load extracted data into AWS S3 for graph model transformation.
- Analyze data, relationships, and entity mappings to determine the necessary graph schema.
- Design nodes, edges, and properties for the graph schema using entity definitions.
- Implement the graph schema in AWS Neptune.
- Create indexes to improve query performance.
- Review and refine the schema based on query patterns and performance.
- Define transformation logic using DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Develop DBT models for data transformation.
- Schedule and automate the ELT pipeline using DBT and Snowflake.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with AWS Neptune.
- Strong understanding of graph database concepts and schema design.
- Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.
- Experience with Snowflake as a data source.
- Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 per year
