About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer to join our team for an onsite position in Bentonville, AR. This role requires a strong background in data engineering principles, cloud-native environments, and a proven ability to build and maintain robust data pipelines. You will work closely with the implementation partner and collaborate with offshore teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines on cloud-native environments using GCP services.
- Utilize SQL and Spark for data processing and transformation.
- Leverage GCP BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics.
- Implement and manage data workflows using Airflow.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with the implementation partner (Tredence) and the end client to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage offshore teams.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and maintain high standards of quality in all deliverables.
Must-Have Skills:
- 13+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and Spark.
- Hands-on experience with GCP BigQuery (BQ).
- Experience with Airflow, AFaaS/DPaaS.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience managing and working with offshore teams.
- Experience building data pipelines on cloud-native environments.

Employment Details:
