Job Description:
Our client, AT&T, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Analyst to join their team in Downtown Houston on a 9+ month contract basis. This role is crucial for the design, operation, and support of the substation LAN/WAN network, with a strong emphasis on Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and cybersecurity protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and install network components including routers and switches.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of spanning tree, routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLAN technologies, and WAN protocols.
- Conduct network troubleshooting using network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Provide design and support services for large-scale, multi-site network environments.
- Possess good working knowledge and experience in planning, design, installation, and support of LAN (Ethernet, Gig-Ethernet).
- Possess good working knowledge and experience in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) protocols such as: CONITEL, DNP, Modbus and 68150.
- Possess good working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Demonstrate good NERC-CIP knowledge and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits.
- Maintain accurate network drawings and documentation.
- Perform testing for new network hardware and software solutions.
- Adhere to the Change Management process for all network-related incidents.
- Serve as a member of the technical team on selected large-scale substation networking projects.
- Provide support, testing, and troubleshooting for all business applications.
- Utilize intelligent network management tools to isolate problems and improve network performance.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation, and configuration of network devices (routers, switches).
- 6+ years of experience in providing design and support services for large-scale, multi-site network environments.
- Desired Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCENT.
Additional Information:
- This is a contract role for 9+ months.
- The role is located in Houston, TX, and only local candidates will be considered.
- Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) protocols and NERC-CIP is highly desirable.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $55 – $75 per year (Estimated)
