Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tableau BI Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable BI Solutions using Tableau and AWS data services to support our data-driven decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and performance for analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence applications in an Agile environment.
Technical Skills Required:
- BI Development: Proven experience in BI development using Tableau and AWS data services (Redshift, RDS, Athena, Glue).
- SQL Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization. Ability to write complex SQL queries, including subqueries, joins, window functions, and CTEs. Experience with database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, or Oracle. Performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and stored procedures. Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
- Tableau Expertise: Strong skills in Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations. Ability to connect Tableau to various data sources and build real-time, data-driven insights. Proficiency in creating calculated fields, parameters, and leveraging Tableau’s advanced visualization features. Experience in designing user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards.
- AWS Data Services: Experience with AWS data services such as Redshift, RDS, Athena, and Glue for data storage, processing, and analysis.
Domain Knowledge:
- Supply Chain Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of supply chain processes, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics. Ability to define and track supply chain-specific KPIs and metrics.
Additional Skills:
- Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python or R) for data analysis is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Tableau.
- Leverage AWS data services for data storage and processing.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Create interactive and insightful dashboards in Tableau.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
