Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Documentum Lead Developer responsible for the analysis, design, development, and deployment of software applications on the Documentum platform. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts and users to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Documentum development, Java, and web services.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Product Specification, system design, development, and system integration.
  • Develop new product concepts and deliver product prototypes.
  • Conduct new technology research, concept specification, and design of individual software components.
  • Participate in product and program collaboration.
  • Refactor implementations to standardize on an event-driven architecture.
  • Refactor web applications and services to be completely stateless and cloud-ready.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams and stakeholders.
  • Adapt to customer release processes.

Technical Skills:

  • 8+ years in Documentum development role.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring Documentum D2.
  • 8+ years in Java 1.8+ development role.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • Strong knowledge of web service models: SOAP, OData, REST.
  • Strong knowledge of GIT.
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Maven.
  • Experience with using Oracle as a backend is preferred.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery.
  • Experience with 3rd party Javascript libraries such as Angular JS, Knockout JS, JQueryUI, or similar is preferred.
  • Experience with using SQL Server as a backend is preferred.
  • Experience with TFS and Git is preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to gather requirements from business users.

Experience Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Documentum development.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring Documentum D2.
  • 8+ years of experience in Java 1.8+ development.
  • Experience with web services (SOAP, OData, REST).
  • Experience with GIT and Apache Maven.
  • Experience with Oracle or SQL Server as a backend is a plus.
  • Experience with TFS and GIT is preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
