Job Description:

The fraud team is seeking a hands-on, innovation-driven Java Developer who can actively leverage AI-powered tools across the SDLC to design, build, and scale next-generation Fraud detection solutions. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity and is a builder and problem-solver, not just a coder. The ideal candidate innovates at speed and scale and can adopt AI tools for the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable fraud detection solutions using Java.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and techniques to enhance the SDLC, including intelligent code completion, automated test creation, code quality analysis, debugging assistance, and developer productivity optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain robust, high-performance microservices.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes/Docker).
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Java Developer.
  • Proven experience with AI-Augmented SDLC and using AI tools for code generation, testing, analysis, debugging, and productivity optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of Kafka.
  • Experience in the banking domain is a must.

Additional Information:

  • This is a long-term consulting assignment.
  • The role requires 2-3 days on-site in NYC, NY.
  • Local candidates only.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
