Job Opportunity: GCP Data Engineer with Security and Access Management
We are reaching out to you regarding an exciting job opportunity with one of our clients. We are looking for a skilled GCP Data Engineer with a strong background in Security and Access Management.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will have solid, practical experience in developing and managing end-to-end data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, cloud-native solutions, and robust security practices, particularly in access management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in GCP.
- Implement and manage data security measures and access controls within GCP environments.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for various data sources.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across all data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and security issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services and best practices in data engineering and security.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in developing and managing end-to-end data pipelines in GCP.
- Strong knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Expertise in Security and Access Management within cloud environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
