Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex projects involving SAP initiatives and IT infrastructure programs. This role requires a strong background in managing both ERP/SAP implementations and enterprise infrastructure upgrades, including network, server, and platform enhancements. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing the entire project lifecycle, and ensuring the successful deployment of technology solutions across the organization. This is an onsite position requiring local candidates in the Metro Atlanta, GA area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of enterprise IT projects, encompassing planning, design, build, testing, implementation, and rollout phases.
- Manage SAP and ERP-related initiatives, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
- Oversee critical infrastructure initiatives such as network upgrades, data center projects, wireless enhancements, and server or platform implementations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, detailed schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, SAP specialists, and overall project leadership.
- Ensure all projects adhere to PMO standards, follow the established project lifecycle methodology, and meet governance requirements.
- Proactively identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines and ensure high project quality.
- Coordinate multiple technical teams and external vendors across both infrastructure and application workstreams.
- Provide regular, clear project status reports, deliver timely stakeholder updates, and facilitate executive-level communication.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects.
- At least 3+ years of experience managing complex IT initiatives specifically as a Project Manager.
- Demonstrated experience managing SAP or ERP-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, or enhancements.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure initiatives such as network upgrades, server environments, cloud platforms, or data center projects.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments, including networks, servers, storage, and enterprise systems.
- Experience working within formal PMO governance structures and project lifecycle frameworks.
- Excellent risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and engaging with enterprise stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and other project reporting software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Possession of infrastructure-related certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or similar.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise ERP programs or significant infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Previous experience working in large public-sector or educational environments.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
