Role Description
Prior experience supporting Shell Capital Projects preferred | with demonstrated understanding of IM standards| governance| and ways of working. Minimum 3 years experience supporting Capital Projects as a Document Control Lead| overseeing document control operations across the project lifecycle. Proven experience in Document and Data Control| including secure management| tracking| reporting| and quality assurance of project documentation. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in developing| implementing| and maintaining Document and Data Control processes and procedures| including document control procedures, numbering specifications, and archiving requirements. Experience supporting Capital Projects handover| including document completeness| compliance| and readiness for transition to the next project phase or operations. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced| dynamic Capital Project environment| coordinating with multiple stakeholders and EPC partners. Strong English language proficiency| with excellent written and verbal communication skills to support reporting| stakeholder engagement| and procedural documentation. Proficient in Power BI| SharePoint| MS Office (Word| Excel| PowerPoint)| and Assai| with the ability to administer and leverage EDMS and reporting tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all document control activities for capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with IM standards, governance, and established ways of working.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust document control processes and procedures.
- Manage the secure storage, tracking, reporting, and quality assurance of all project documentation.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including EPC partners, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support project handover processes, ensuring document completeness and readiness for transition.
- Prepare and present regular reports on document control status to project management and stakeholders.
- Utilize EDMS and reporting tools effectively to enhance document management efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Document Control Lead on Capital Projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of IM standards and project governance.
- Strong knowledge of document and data control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Assai.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
