This role sits at the intersection of marketing, localization, and IT, requiring a professional who can navigate technical requirements while maintaining a keen eye for design and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on authoring and maintenance of web content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components and templates.
  • Manage and organize digital assets within the DAM, ensuring proper metadata tagging and optimized publishing workflows.
  • Coordinate with localization teams to manage the translation and rollout of content across multiple international sites.
  • Perform comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) across various browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices to ensure functional and visual consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CMS-related issues, including component behavior, layout discrepancies, and publishing errors.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to identify bugs and suggest enhancements for custom AEM components.
  • Support web releases and sprint-based publishing schedules, ensuring all content updates are delivered on time and without error.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline content workflows and improve the efficiency of the AEM authoring experience.

Technical Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of direct, hands-on experience working within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) ecosystem.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript, to assist in troubleshooting layout issues.
  • Proven experience managing updates for large-scale, multilingual websites and supporting complex localization workflows.
  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and their integration with web publishing platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of performing rigorous QA in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management and issue tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Asana.
  • A BA/BS degree is preferred, specifically in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or Marketing.

The Future of Digital Experience

As we continue to evolve our digital strategy, the AEM Specialist will play a pivotal role in implementing next-generation web experiences. You will be involved in the transition toward more modular content strategies, utilizing Experience Fragments and Content Fragments to drive omnichannel consistency. Your expertise will help us maintain a competitive edge by ensuring that our web platform remains agile, scalable, and user-centric. We value proactive problem-solvers who are not afraid to dive deep into the technical nuances of the CMS to find elegant solutions for complex content challenges. Join us in NYC and help shape the future of our global digital footprint.
