Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Application Developer to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity. This role focuses on the development and support of native mobile applications, requiring hands-on experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, Angular, and Azure AKS. You will be responsible for developing and supporting applications, integrating backend systems via RESTful APIs, and providing on-site production support. The position also involves app store and release management, utilizing tools like Git and working within Agile environments. This is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week presence in the lab/retail store locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development & Support: Develop and support native mobile applications in production environments.
- Software Development: Utilize Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JDBC, and Hibernate for software development.
- API Integration: Develop RESTful APIs and perform backend integration.
- On-site Support: Provide on-site production support (5 days a week) from lab/retail store locations.
- Issue Resolution: Handle bug fixing, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
- App Store & Release Management: Manage Google Play Console app publishing and monitoring.
- App Signing & Certificates: Manage app signing, certificates, and provisioning profiles.
- Release Management: Oversee release management, including app updates and rollbacks.
- Tools & Practices: Employ version control systems like Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Agile Development: Work collaboratively in Agile development environments.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Java EE, Spring Boot, Angular, JSP/JavaScript, MS SQL, and Azure AKS.
- Experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JDBC, and Hibernate.
- Strong experience in RESTful API development and backend integration.
- Experience providing on-site production support.
- Familiarity with bug fixing, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
- Experience with App Store and Release Management, including Google Play Console.
- Knowledge of app signing, certificates, and provisioning profiles.
- Experience with release management processes.
- Proficiency in version control tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies and collaborative team environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $45 – $65 per year
