Job Summary:
Prophecy Consulting is seeking a highly skilled AWS SRE Architect to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with a wide range of AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies. You will collaborate with enterprise architects and development teams to ensure our infrastructure aligns with business objectives and supports efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, Route 53, Load Balancer, ASG, RDS, AWS Batch, and CloudWatch Logs & Metrics.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring best practices for version control with Git/GitHub.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery using tools like Deploy and Manage Artifacts.
- Manage and troubleshoot Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), networking configurations, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Administer and support Linux and Windows systems within cloud environments.
- Write and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to align infrastructure strategies with business and technical goals.
- Interpret and contribute to infrastructure diagrams and technical documentation.
- Participate actively in incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call rotations to ensure system availability.
- Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for secure access control.
- Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
- Leverage AWS Serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions) and Data Warehousing/Analytics services (Redshift).
- Utilize Machine Learning services such as SageMaker.
- Manage container-based services including Kubernetes/EKS, ECR, and Docker, orchestrated with Helm charts.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of working experience leveraging AWS infrastructure services.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive experience with container-based services (Kubernetes/EKS, ECR, Docker, Helm).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, VPCs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Experience with Linux and Windows system administration in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Data Lake services (S3, Glue), Serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions), and Data Warehousing/Analytics services (Redshift).
- Experience with Machine Learning services (SageMaker) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of SSO implementation and management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
