Role Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Azure PaaS Consultant (TS4) with deep expertise in Azure cloud-native technologies and API integration. This role requires hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions across complex systems, with strong focus on modern architecture and integration patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Serve as SME for Azure PaaS technologies, provide architectural guidance, and enforce best practices. Drive code quality through reviews and standards.
- Solution Architecture & Implementation: Design and implement end-to-end Azure solutions covering Data Layer (ETL/ELT, pipelines, data warehousing), API Layer (REST APIs, messaging, integrations), Application Layer (Web apps, serverless, batch processing), and Security Layer (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, encryption). Deliver multi-tier enterprise applications and troubleshoot/optimize performance.
- DevOps & Automation: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Implement Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM). Monitor solutions using Azure Monitor & Application Insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with business and technical stakeholders. Define API governance (OpenAPI/Swagger) and align with enterprise architecture standards.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT / software development.
- Strong expertise in: Azure PaaS (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault), API Integration (APIM, Logic Apps, Service Bus), C#, .NET 8+, TypeScript, REST API development, Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, ARM), Authentication (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Experience with: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Blazor), Azure AI / Copilot integrations.

- Hybrid (Downtown Columbus, OH)
- Enterprise-level government project

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per hour (Estimated)
