Role Overview

The Business Analyst drives requirements discovery and documentation for data center exit migrations within the DMC Technology portfolio, ensuring application functionality, integrations, identity flows (SSO/MFA), and reporting/monitoring needs remain intact through the move to colocation facilities and AWS. This BA bridges business and technical stakeholders, translates complex requirements into actionable specifications, and ensures delivery teams have clear guidance. The role is comfortable with technical discussions, interface dependency mapping, and maintaining alignment across multiple workstreams throughout the migration journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for migration waves including performance, security, and compliance needs.
  • Document integrations and endpoints, workflows, SSO/MFA user journeys, IAM access requirements, and system dependencies.
  • Document integrations, data flows, and system dependencies including interface catalogs and dependency matrices.
  • Create current-state vs future-state process flows, dependency maps, and architectural diagrams to guide migration planning.
  • Partner with architects, developers, and operations teams to translate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Support testing strategy including UAT scenarios, interface validation, cutover readiness checklists, and rollback procedures.
  • Support UAT, cutover readiness, and stakeholder communication to ensure smooth transitions and business continuity.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, risks, RAID logs, migration readiness reporting, and delivery artifacts.

Technical Environment and Strategic Impact

In the evolving landscape of 2026, enterprise migrations to AWS and colocation facilities require a high degree of technical literacy from Business Analysts. This position is not merely about documentation; it is about understanding the underlying architecture of data center exits. You will be responsible for mapping out complex identity flows, specifically focusing on Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to ensure that security protocols are not compromised during the transition. Your ability to navigate the DMC Technology portfolio will be critical in maintaining business continuity for high-stakes banking operations. By facilitating workshops and driving elicitation sessions, you will ensure that every technical component—from endpoint inventories to data flow matrices—is accounted for in the migration roadmap. This role demands a proactive approach to risk management, utilizing RAID logs to track and mitigate potential blockers before they impact the migration timeline. Furthermore, your expertise in regulated industries will help the organization adhere to strict audit and compliance requirements, ensuring that all access controls and change management processes are documented to the highest standard.

Professional Growth and Collaboration
