Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in the Healthcare industry to join our client’s team. This is a remote position, primarily focused on supporting clients based in New Jersey. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in facilitating requirements gathering, defining user stories, and ensuring the successful development and implementation of a new customer portal that will enhance existing legacy system functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with the client, particularly focusing on the CareTria platform based in New Jersey.
- Collaborate with DXD, architects, developers, and the broader team to define the overall structure, design, and requirements for a new customer portal.
- Update and refine a preliminary backlog that was developed during a recent discovery phase.
- Define detailed requirements to support identified user stories, including business rules, system logic, UI behavior, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and update process diagrams (e.g., BPMN 2.0), state diagrams, and other relevant documentation to capture requirements effectively.
- Work closely with the development team to clarify and refine requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Potentially perform Quality Assurance (QA) on developed user stories or support a dedicated QA team.
- May be involved in running sprint demos for the client to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Healthcare sector.
- Experience in requirements gathering, user story creation, and backlog management.
- Familiarity with portal development and legacy system replacement projects.
- Knowledge of process modeling tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN 2.0).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and technical teams.
- Experience with DXD (Digital Experience Design) is a plus.
- Understanding of New Jersey healthcare landscape is beneficial.
