Position Overview: Business Product Analyst
HCL Global Systems Inc is seeking a versatile Business Product Analyst for a hybrid role based in Plano, TX. This position is designed for a professional who can bridge the gap between business strategy, product development, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the financial domain, which is a mandatory requirement for this role. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the final product meets the highest quality standards through rigorous testing methodologies.
Core Responsibilities: Business Systems Analysis (BSA)
- Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements from various stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with business units to understand existing processes and identify strategic improvement opportunities.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for the development teams.
- Facilitate ongoing communication between business users and technical teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Support the solution design phase and validate that all deliverables align with the overarching business objectives.
Product Analysis and Strategy
- Analyze market trends, user feedback, and key product performance metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
- Support Product Managers in the definition of new features, product roadmaps, and development priorities.
- Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and market differentiation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that product requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly.
- Assist in the creation of product documentation, training materials, and detailed release notes.
Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to validate system functionality, performance, and overall usability.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating directly with developers to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Participate in all phases of testing, including regression, integration, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and industry-leading testing best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. We require proven experience in Business Analysis, QA, or Product Analysis roles, specifically within the financial services sector. Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling is essential. Technical knowledge of software testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail is highly preferred. Furthermore, a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) is necessary for success in this fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $115,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)
