Role Overview
As a Cyber Security Lead Architect specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will lead the strategic design and implementation of enterprise-grade security frameworks. This role focuses on CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management), Single Sign-On (SSO), and PING Identity solutions to protect critical infrastructure and user data. You will be responsible for defining the security roadmap, ensuring that all identity-related services are robust, scalable, and compliant with global security standards. This is a high-impact role that requires both deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the deployment of IAM and CIAM solutions across a global enterprise environment.
- Lead the integration of SSO protocols and PING Identity suites (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory) to streamline user access and enhance security.
- Develop security roadmaps and architectural blueprints for cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and Engineering, to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security engineers and junior architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analysis on existing identity systems to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, CCPA, and SOC2 through rigorous identity governance and administration.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and technologies to proactively adjust security strategies.
Technical Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Information Technology with a significant focus on Cyber Security and IAM architecture.
- Expertise in PING Identity products, including PING Federate, PING Access, and PING Directory.
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and securing cloud-native applications.
- Strong background in directory services, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged access management (PAM).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PING Identity Professional certifications are highly preferred.
