Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled ERP Developer with 8 or more years of experience to join our team. This role requires a high degree of creativity and latitude, with the ability to independently perform complex tasks and potentially lead others. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging, to support the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring seamless software integration into the ERP system and maintaining technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy systems built on the .NET framework.
- Reverse-engineer business logic and extract critical data.
- Perform standard PeopleSoft Financials development.
- Document and explain legacy logic to the project team and stakeholders.
- Conduct standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tasks.
- Perform other project tasks as needed.
- Potentially work off-hours during specific project phases.
Candidate Qualifications
- Required: 8+ years of experience in development.
- Required: At least 2 years of development experience with PeopleTools.
- Required: At least 2 years of experience working with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher.
- Required: At least 2 years of experience with an advanced Oracle database.
- Required: Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server stored procedures.
- Required: At least 2 years of experience with legacy to PeopleSoft complex data migrations.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Jira.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience working with the Scrum framework.
Work Environment
- This is a remote position, with the possibility of becoming hybrid. Any on-site days will be negotiated.
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time.
- The role is expected to be renewed for FY’27.
Special Requirements
Candidate must be local to TX. In-person Interview required. Position is remote but candidates must be within the State of Texas.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
