Position Summary
The Strategic Technology Solutions division within the Department of Finance & Administration is looking for an experienced Enterprise Application Consultant to serve as a FileNet Developer Lead in Nashville, TN. This hybrid role is critical for the daily operations of the Enterprise ECM team, which provides essential services to over 23 state agencies. The successful candidate will lead the development and maintenance of FileNet and KnowledgeLake solutions, ensuring high availability and seamless data integration across multiple platforms. This is a vital position requiring a deep understanding of the FileNet suite and the ability to mentor other staff members.
Primary Duties
- Develop and optimize Java applications utilizing FileNet and KnowledgeLake APIs to manage enterprise content.
- Lead data migration and ingestion projects from diverse sources into FileNet P8 and cloud-based KnowledgeLake environments.
- Design and implement automated business processes, including document classes, workflow maps, queues, and subscription services.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex system issues within a highly available and clustered P8 environment.
- Mentor junior ECM staff and provide technical guidance on enterprise content management best practices.
- Conduct system demonstrations of FileNet and KnowledgeLake components for stakeholders.
- Analyze, design, and build projects to deliver comprehensive ECM solutions.
- Manage relational databases including SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle to support application needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale IBM FileNet and KnowledgeLake solutions.
- Proficiency in Java development specifically for FileNet P8 Content Platform Engine, Process Engine, and Content Navigator.
- Experience with scanning and indexing technologies such as IBM DataCap, Kofax AutoStore, or Capture Professional.
- Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Application Server and deployed application management.
- Experience working with SSL certificates and certificate vaults in a secure environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis using system logs and traces.
- Knowledge of .NET development is considered a significant plus.
Project Details
This is an 8-month contract engagement with a standard 7.5-hour workday. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative benefits of onsite presence in Nashville. The project involves high-level business analysis and project design, contributing to the modernization of state agency infrastructure. Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
