Role Overview

The Denver technology sector continues to expand as a premier destination for software engineering talent, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Python Developer to join a high-impact team in Denver, Colorado. This position is specifically designated for consultants who are already local to the Denver metropolitan area. With a requirement for over 10 years of professional experience, the ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive mastery of both front-end and back-end development, with a particular focus on the Python ecosystem and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Technical Requirements

  • Expertise in Back-End development using Python with high-performance frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
  • Extensive experience in Front-End development utilizing HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
  • Hands-on proficiency with at least one major UI framework: React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Strong command of modern UI styling tools including Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI to create responsive and accessible designs.
  • Advanced database design skills with SQL, specifically working with PostgreSQL and SQLite.
  • Proven ability to architect and build robust RESTful APIs with comprehensive request/response handling, validation, and error management.
  • Familiarity with Linux and macOS environments, including terminal usage and basic shell commands.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP protocols, ports, and HTTP/HTTPS security.
  • Version control mastery using Git and GitHub, including complex branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of web applications. This includes designing clean, user-friendly interfaces based on modern UI/UX principles and ensuring that the back-end services are optimized for performance and scalability. You will write maintainable, reusable code and participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality. You will also be expected to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the broader engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools to ensure system reliability.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Exposure to Android or iOS device automation is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
