Job Title: Java Developer
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team for an onsite contract position in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming, with experience in popular frameworks and databases.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Design, implement, and test software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be local to Delaware or Pennsylvania.
Additional Requirements:
- This is an onsite position requiring a face-to-face interview.
