Job Title: Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Sunrise, FL. This is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days onsite per week.

Role Description:

  • Candidate must be based out of Sunrise, FL to attend F2F interviews at the client location.
  • Strong core Java fundamentals are essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience building large-scale applications using Java backend programming.
  • Experience working on Cloud (public or private) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software development methodologies and performing due diligence across all lifecycle stages: analysis, build, and testing.
  • Ability to write good JUnit tests and extend code coverage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems in test and production environments.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player.
  • Experience with design and coding in Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, Junits, Mockito, Integration testing, Sonar Cube, log4j, Gradle, Maven, Git, Unix shell scripting, RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL databases, REST.
  • Cloud-related experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm config, Dynatrace, and performance tuning for sub-second response applications is required.
  • Owns all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications.
  • Participates in the design and development of systems and application programs.
  • Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
  • Works with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manages a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues.
  • Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing.
  • Should be able to work in a Hybrid model (3-4 days a week) in the FL location.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $40 – $50 per year
