Role Overview
VBeyond Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Golang Developer for a critical onsite role in Edison or Princeton, New Jersey. This position requires a seasoned professional with over 13 years of software engineering experience to lead the development of high-performance, scalable backend services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both Java and Golang ecosystems, contributing to the modernization of financial systems and microservices architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Golang.
- Architect and implement microservices that are highly available and fault-tolerant.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to support complex business logic and data integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and technical specifications.
- Manage the full API lifecycle, including design, documentation, and versioning.
- Work closely with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers within the team.
- Ensure high code quality through rigorous unit testing and code reviews.
- Adapt to evolving project needs and integrate emerging technologies into the stack.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 13 years of professional software development experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Golang programming languages.
- Extensive experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred.

Candidates must demonstrate exceptional communication and analytical problem-solving abilities. This role is 100% onsite, requiring five days of office presence per week. We are looking for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a collaborative, quality-driven environment and is eager to tackle complex challenges in real-time systems and payment platforms.
Special Requirements
Need local at Princeton, New Jersey; 5 Days working from office; Banking or financial services domain experience preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
