Position Summary
Source Infotech Inc. is urgently hiring a Maximo Solution Architect for a high-impact contract role based in Marcus Hook, PA. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for remote flexibility with a requirement to be onsite at least 3 to 4 days per month. We are seeking a visionary architect who can lead the digital transformation of asset management systems using the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS). The successful candidate will serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the business, driving the strategy for administration, development, and support of the Maximo ecosystem. This role is critical for maintaining high-performance database environments and ensuring that the Maximo platform evolves to meet the complex needs of the energy and utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and administration of the Maximo Application Suite, including version 8 upgrades and Oil & Gas add-on implementations.
- Act as the Lead Maximo SME, providing technical guidance to business units and training end-users on new functionalities.
- Optimize Maximo Asset Management system databases to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and performance across application servers.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for Maximo environments and manage lower environment refresh scripts to support development cycles.
- Manage the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), ensuring robust data exchange integrity and secure database connections.
- Design and implement integrations using Snap Logic software to connect Maximo with other enterprise systems.
- Perform Oracle Database Administration duties for versions 12c and 19c, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Administer Oracle Database Appliances (Models 6, 8, and 9) running version 19 or higher.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable architectural designs.
Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a deep technical foundation in both application architecture and database management. Expertise in Maximo table structures and metadata is essential for creating efficient customizations and upgrades. Furthermore, experience with Maximo Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT) is required to provide the business with actionable insights into asset performance. Given the hybrid nature of the role, the architect must be self-motivated and capable of managing complex projects remotely while maintaining a strong presence during onsite visits to Marcus Hook. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management software.
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (12c/19c).
- IBM Certified Professional status is highly preferred.
- Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) v8 and Oil & Gas industry solutions.
- Proficiency in Snap Logic or similar integration middleware.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
