Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Engineer with a strong focus on Mobile Automation Testing. This role is critical for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mobile testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and the ability to contribute to the entire testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS and Android applications using industry-leading tools and frameworks.
- Execute mobile automation test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed steps to reproduce.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand application features and identify potential areas for testing.
- Perform API testing to ensure seamless integration between different system components.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile testing and automation.
Required Skillset:
Core Mobile Testing:
- Extensive experience in Mobile Automation Testing is mandatory.
- Proven experience in iOS testing, including automation.
- Proven experience in Android testing, including automation.
Programming & Tools:
- Proficiency in Python for test script development.
- Experience with VS Code as a development environment.
- Strong skills in API testing.
- Experience with Swift for iOS development/testing.
- Experience with Kotlin for Android development/testing.
Emerging Technologies:
- Demonstrated experience in the usage of AI tools within a testing context.
Additional Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
