Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Mobile Tech Lead Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. This leadership role is responsible for providing technical direction and oversight in the development and implementation of high-performance mobile applications. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of iOS, Android, and Java developers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a deep understanding of mobile architecture, modern coding practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the iOS, Android, and Java development teams in the design and implementation of robust mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, technical scope, and realistic timelines.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain code quality, identify technical debt, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architectural designs.
- Stay at the forefront of mobile technology trends, advocating for the adoption of best practices in Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Java.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile application performance, security, and integration.
- Ensure seamless integration between mobile front-ends and backend microservices using Node.js or Java.
- Oversee the implementation of RESTful APIs and ensure the highest levels of mobile security protocols are followed.
- Drive the adoption of modern UI/UX design principles to enhance user engagement and application usability.
Required Technical Skills
- Expertise in iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI; knowledge of Objective-C is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
- Extensive experience in Java programming for backend services and microservices integration.
- Solid understanding of Node.js and modern backend architectures.
- Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile security standards (OAuth, JWT).
- Experience with mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployment.
Professional Qualifications
- Proven experience leading development teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail in coding and implementation.
- Relevant certifications in iOS or Android development are highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Special Requirements
Valid visa with min 12 months validity, 5 days onsite, 6 months contract to hire
Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
